Carrot-Mango Smoothie

So it’s after the holidays and you’re already tapped out on your New Year’s resolution to hit the gym daily. (We don’t judge you! We totally did too, it’s ok!)

Instead you went and bought yourself a blender. Or, if you’re like the author of this blog post, your parents bought you–a fully functioning 26 year old female– a fancy high-tech blender for Christmas even though you never mentioned wanting one in perhaps the most unsubtle way of saying “Hun, those jeans are looking a little tight.”

Cool. Thanks, mom.

But no worries! This recipe is so easy it almost makes itself. And hey, if you wanna lift the pineapple up and down a few times and call it “strength training” we won’t tell anyone. Promise.

CARROT-MANGO SMOOTHIE:

(Serves 1 / Total Time: 5 min)

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup frozen mango chunks
3/4 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup chopped carrot
banana

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Put it all in the blender.
Turn it on.

Yay! You did it!

Now doesn’t that feel healthy?
