Kickin’ Homemade Buffalo Sauce

Serve up this banging sauce with wings the next time you host a football party!

1/2 cup of unsalted butter (1 stick)
2/3 cup hot pepper sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Over medium heat, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Once the butter has melted entirely, stir in the remaining ingredients. Stir well while bringing to a simmer. Remove the saucepan from the heat just before it’s about to boil. Cool before serving. Shake well before using.

With this recipe, we recommend using Frank’s Red Hot Sauce¬†because of its traditional flavor.¬†For a little less kick to your sauce, cut back on the amount of cayenne pepper used or skip the black pepper.
